We are still buzzing from the incredible success of SMiLE: To the Moon at the NoBo Bus Stop Gallery!
Here’s what happened:
- 29 of 33 pieces sold from the SMiLE exhibit To the Moon during the Member Preview and First Friday.
- Visitors didn’t just show up, they gave back. We received donations throughout the weekend, helping us keep exhibitions free and accessible.
- Over 1,200 people visited the SMiLE exhibition during First Friday, contributing to a record-breaking night with more than 1,600 attendees across the district.
- Artists in our Street Wise Arts pop-up also saw success, with pieces sold from five different creators.
- Beyond First Friday, more than 100 visitors came through the gallery over the weekend, marking our highest non–First Friday gallery traffic to date.
The impact speaks for itself! SMiLE’s work has brought remarkable social and economic energy to the district. We’re incredibly proud that this internationally recognized artist entrusted us to showcase their vision here in Boulder.
