Exciting things in the works for Boulder Arts Week and April First Friday. Please help us create great events to kick off Spring and showcase the Art District!
NoBo Art Tour – Various artist studios will be open in the afternoons across 2 weekends that bracket BAW, March 26-27 and April 2-3. We’ll use the BAW promotional platform, Daily Camera and Boulder Weekly ads in addition to our own social platforms to promote, please help us get the word out AND join in the Art Tour. We’ll create unique maps to help visitors on their self-guided tours of the area. The aim is to encourage folks to explore the area. Sign up HERE!
NoBo Scavenger Hunt – encourage folks to explore the area! Happening across the week of BAW utilizing social media platforms with small prizes at locations.
Take over BAW social media platform for a day! – through a BAW photo contest NoBo won the use of the BAW social platform for a day. It will play a prominent role in the Scavenger Hunt, no doubt.
Month of Print “Mo’ Print” – This is a Denver originated event that happens in March and April and we’re trying to get a little action happening in Boulder. Mo’ Print has a Tour happening March 26th and the primary location in Boulder is Theresa Haberkorn’s studio in NoBo, so we’ll help connect with that as well. NoBo will host 2 exhibits to coincide with Mo Print. One is “The Continuous Line” curated by Renate Mairie at the Gallery at the Bus Stop Apartments, the other is a group exhibit of printmakers at the NoBo Art Center.
How can you participate? Get involved! If your work space is in the NoBo area, open up for the NoBo Art Tour, March 26-27 and April 2-3. You could create your own pop up with a market tent in a parking lot! We are also scouting vacant spaces that could host a pop up as well. Let us know if you have other thoughts, ideas to share. Reply HERE if you want to participate or help out!
Thanks,
Lisa and Leah
