After a lifetime of studying and making art, my work is currently inspired by being in nature, reaching out with all the senses to the infinitely changing beauty around me.

Whether I’m painting en plein air or in-studio, I seek to create pieces that evoke in the viewer the joy and magic of those moments when nature takes us beyond ourselves to an infinitely larger reality.  My style ranges from more realistic to more impressionistic, and my primary medium is oil.
