Style: First Friday
Mona Taylor is an artist from Moab, Utah and Le Villaret, France. She joined Drawing Club in elementary school and realized that she loved art. After time with an art therapist during an afterschool program she was inspired to continue making art. She then started selling greeting cards and other small artworks at Moab Made. Mona found a love for working with clay within ceramics studios at Desert Sun Ceramics. She completed two internships at ceramics studios: Desert Sun Ceramics and Ah Haa School for the Arts. She has had solo exhibitions at Baked in Telluride and La Cocina de Luz and participated in the Open Wall Show at BMoCa. Mona has been a ceramics teaching assistant at Ah Haa since 2021.
Currently she is attending Naropa University majoring in Visual Arts and Environmental Studies with a minor in Psychology and sells her work at Boulder Sports Recycler and Ah Haa’s Summer Markets.
