I love the immersion that comes when I find a scene that fully captures my attention and move from picture taking to photograph making. I have always been drawn to color and shape—and abstract art in general—leading me to seek out patterns in subjects as varied as flowers, bricks, and rusted cars. This makes macro/close-up photography a natural fit. I also love to travel and am always on the lookout for interesting people and scenes to shoot. Finally, I enjoy the process of editing photos as much as taking them, and teach Photoshop privately.
