Julie Adams

My life and art have been influenced by my time spent growing up on an acreage outside of Boulder, Colorado. Horses, hippies, and the Rocky Mountains were woven into the fabric of my daily life. My art is inspired by the free-spirited energy of my community, the beauty of the Rocky Mountains, and the freedom I felt riding on horseback through the fields around my home.

I love exploring and trying new ideas, always learning, and hopefully evolving.  I experiment with different media but mostly paint with acrylic. Influenced by impressionist painters, I hope to convey a story through freedom of expression, vibrant palettes, and loose brushstrokes.  I invite the viewer to make up their own story.
