Dear Art Lovers,
We are thrilled to share some exciting news about SMiLE’s exhibit at the Bus Stop Gallery! His
show, A Golden Thread, sold out within minutes of opening, leaving many of you eager for
more. So, in response to the overwhelming demand, SMiLE has agreed to create more than 15
new art pieces for a special Closing Auction.
To make this collection accessible to everyone, not just the first to arrive, we’ll be holding an
online auction that will start 24 hours beforehand and close at 8:00 PM on September 27th
during SMiLE’s closing event. The collection will only be on display, both online and in person,
24 hours in advance. This unique approach ensures that all interested patrons have a fair
chance to own a piece of his extraordinary work, and in person buyers will bring home their art
that night.
In keeping with his belief in accessible art, SMiLE will set starting prices to be consistent with his
normal, very affordable prices. However, should the auction drive prices higher, the amount
above the starting price will be donated to our neighbors, the Boulder Homeless Shelter, All
Roads, just a block south of us. Plus, the winning bidders will receive a tax write-off for the
donation amount.
