Mandala Art Workshop with Aishwarya Puthran

Mandala Art Workshop with Aishwarya Puthran
Saturday, May 9, 2026
3 – 5 PM
NoBo Bus Stop Gallery
4895 Broadway, Boulder CO, 80304
A mandala art form begins with a single point and slowly unfolds into a world of patterns. Each line and dot building on the one before it. It’s a quiet rhythm in form, where repetition creates harmony and something simple becomes deeply intricate and slowly weaves a story of connection and experience.
Join artist Aishwarya Puthran for a hands-on Mandala Art Workshop as part of AANHPI Heritage Month and the Threaded Narratives: Weaving South Asian Identity in Colorado exhibition, where participants will learn to create their own 8” mandala with acrylic paints on a wooden base using simple, repetitive mark-making techniques. Starting with basic elements like dots, lines, and strokes, the session will walk you through building patterns layer by layer, creating a balanced and visually rich composition. This is a C-SAAG programmed event at the NoBo Bus Stop Gallery.
Suitable for all skill levels, this workshop offers a structured yet relaxed environment to explore creativity, focus, and mindful making. Participants will be guided step by step and will leave with a completed mandala that reflects their individual expression.
