Ash/Root/Rise:Collective Regeneration Lab

April 11 @ 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm

Community Workshop with Darya Warner

What happens when a drawing becomes something you can plant?

Join artist Darya Warner for the Ash / Root / Rise: Collective Regeneration Lab Workshop, a workshop rooted in transformation, material, and time. This conceptual, living installation brings together clay, ash, and native seeds—inviting participants to take part in a process that quite literally grows.

Each drawing becomes a vessel—something that holds potential, change, and renewal. Through Darya’s process, drawings are translated into 3D-printed clay forms, which are then embedded with seeds. Over time, these forms break down, giving way to new life.

If you’ve already completed a drawing in advance, this workshop is your chance to take the next step. Join Darya to plant your seeds directly into your 3D-printed piece and become part of the evolving installation.

If you haven’t created a drawing yet, you’re still very much invited. Come observe the process, learn more about the project, and experience how art, ecology, and community intersect in Darya’s work.

Come curious. Leave with a deeper understanding of how creative practice can extend into the natural world—and how something as simple as a line can take root.
