The 7th Annual NoBo Art District Group Show
“Looking for Common Ground: A Collaboration”
Our 7th Annual NoBo Art District Group Show promises to be the best one yet. The Boulder Public Library, Canyon Gallery is the venue for the show, hosted by the NoBo Art District. This year’s theme is, “Looking for Common Ground: A Collaboration”. The theme acknowledges the eclectic variety of creative expression, the uncertain, changing times we live in and the desire for connection or common ground.
The show will run for 6 weeks, with an opening reception on the evening of Friday, February 24th, 2017. Several performance events are scheduled across those 6 weeks. These will feature NoBo Art District Visual Artists, Theater and Spoken Word performances, music, dance, artist talks and demos.
We hope this show inspires some collaborative works amongst our artists, however it is not limited to collaborative work. Only one piece per artist or per collaboration. Please just submit your best work. 2-D or wall art is limited to a maximum width of 32”.
There is no fee to participate. Artwork may be for sale; all sales handled directly by the artist. All NoBo Art District participants are expected to contribute in some way; hosting, gallery sitting, PR, providing food, help with art drop-off and pick-up, etc.
Please let us know if you are interested in participating by Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2017 via email at: NoBoArtMembership@gmail.com.
