Street Wise is accepting applications for business and property owners who wish to have a mural installed on their property as part of Street Wise 2020. Street Wise Boulder is an annual mural festival bringing “artivism” to the streets of Boulder.
In order to participate, we ask that business/property owners contact us or fill out our online application. Business and property owners must:
● Financially contribute to the artist fees, materials and support of the mural festival*
● A one year commitment for the mural/art to stay in place.
Artists will be selected by the Street Wise advisory committee from an artist applicant pool consisting of local, national and international artists. Artists will be invited based on experience, aesthetics, messaging, cultural relevance and diversity. Invited Artists will design an original “one of a kind” mural, responding to themes of their choosing, supporting the overall Street Wise mission including social activism, community vibrancy and other “artivism” themes, in collaboration with wall partners.
