Want to make a difference in our community?
The Nobel Circle Gateway is a public art work project to be designed by international artist, Larry Kirkland, http://larrykirkland .com/ which will honor five Nobel Prize scientists, and a Nobel Peace Prize for key work on climate change who are/were citizens of Boulder. The gateway work of art will inspire all who enter the library to imagine, envision and achieve. The public work of art will allow for expansion to honor Nobel winners of the future.
The location is SECURED – the plaza outside the glass truncated trapezoid entrance to the main branch of the Boulder Public Library.
WANT TO BE ON THE COMMITTEE MOVING FORWARD? We are looking for artists and educators. The time commitment is a few hours a month. This is a really great opportunity to help create a significant public work of art that honors science, education, and art. Please contact Virginia Schick at virginia.schick@bvsd.org if interested!
