Oil painter, plein air artist
I am a visual artist living in Boulder, working in mediums such as oil and acrylic. I paint en plein air often around Colorado. I most often paint scenes around Boulder and also Leadville, including both the natural landscape and mining structures. I’m very interested in Mt. Elbert, the tallest mountain in Colorado and often the subject of my mountain paintings.
My other subjects include anything from landscapes, traditional nude paintings, to paintings of cats.
In addition to painting I am often drawing in ink or marker, or even watercolor pencil. I also make paper art or collage art, focusing on animals and mythical creatures such as dragons.
