MONTH OF MODERN
In September, Boulder will be alive with Month of Modern – a celebration of architecture, design, lifestyle, art and culture! MoM’s mission is to cultivate a conversation about Colorado modern, and present the Boulder region as one of the nation’s most vibrant hubs of modern design. Come enjoy thought provoking panels and lectures, a home tour, and a fantastic wrap party.

CALL FOR ARTISTS / DESIGNERS
Month of Modern is looking for artists/designers to participate in the Creative City Exhibition. The idea comes from the Birmingham Design Festival in 2021. This is a limited opportunity, and the call will be capped at 60 participants.
- Deadline – August 19, delivered to HMH Architecture + Interiors in Boulder
- The exhibition will be held during NoBo’s First Friday art walk on September 2.
- 24×48″ inch A-boards (provided by MoM). You are only responsible for one side of the board.
- The theme is DESIGN FOR CHANGE. How can we empower, inspire and create change in response to the world’s biggest challenges? “THE CREATIVE CITY” exhibit will explore how to use design to create value and make the world a better place.
- No limitations on colors or materials.
- One People’s Choice Award winner will be chosen by event attendees. The winner will be announced the evening of the Month of Modern Wrap Party on September 29 and the award will be designed by Todd Reed
