Rabid Rabits Studio and Galeria

Rabid Rabits Studio was named after Pierre, my furry long eared friend, who would do the most elaborate air flips across our 2nd floor deck where he lived.  He was expressing his extreme and rabid joy for life (later someone told me this was a "bunny binky"), which gave new meaning to Rabid Rabit.  I began as a beader, and then progressed into metalsmithing, and combined both those skills for my art jewelry style.  I love infusing words into my work, whether about Love, or a poem about bees.  I also love stones that are unique, and rare, as well as beautiful.  Through my art journey I picked up an interest in clay, painting, printing and mixed media.  Though I have been in the Boulder area since coming to CU in 1980, I moved to Mexico for 7 years, where I was inspired by the imagery, color saturation and culture which still influences my work.  Since coming back to Colorado in 2010 I have opened as a Galeria where I represent local artists works for up to 10 artists.
