NoBo Art District at Community Art Day

This Sunday 10am – 4pm: Boulder Social Streets and the Downtown Boulder Partnership presents: Community Art Day!

Head down to 13th Street between Canyon and Arapahoe to experience various FREE participatory art activities provided by local community groups!

NoBo Art District will be presenting recent and upcoming public Artists “Onecho” and Tree Sky Eco Arts with art making activity and a meet and greet. Come create and meet the artists! Many other artists and arts organizations will also be offering free art making and community activities.

Boulder Open Studios Mobile Art Lab will be doing an art activity and artist demonstrations.

Street Wise Arts will be providing an artivism button making activity and inviting participation in a community-created mural project.

BMoCA will be doing a hands-on art activity in the street.

Local artist Edica Pacha will be doing an iteration of her community wheat paste project to gather thoughts on Boulder Social Streets.

This project is a part of the Experiments in Public Art program within the City of Boulder’s Office of Arts & Culture. Additionally, local artist Jennifer Chaparro will be heading the Chalk4Peace/Boulder in Color community art event with a co-created chalk mural on the Dushanbe Teahouse asphalt pad. This will be a wonderful opportunity to join your neighbors in creating an impactful work of art!
