As a painter, Connie Quigg enjoys working with color, specifically intimate marks and layers of color. Connie has been experimenting and combining her intimate approach to color with representational images reflective of the changes in her life. Connie’s earlier works were intricate nonobjective works. Quilt like compositions and her torso series reflect her interest in women and their changing role throughout history in American society.
As a painter, Connie’s highest artistic honor was having a work exhibited in the Smithsonian in Washington D.C.
