CALL for Artists:  2017 NoBo Artist Calendar

The NoBo Art District is seeking member’s artwork to feature on a promotional 2017 Artists Calendar. The calendar will serve to promote NoBo Art District, 48 individual artists, our events and 12 patrons. The 12 month 8.5”x11” calendar will feature four artists’ images for each month. There will be one featured patron listed (without an image) per month. Deadline: August 20, 2016.

There will be a credit listed next to the artist’s image. A directory at the end of the calendar will list the artist and patron names and contact info. Each artist and patron will receive 3 calendars for participating. Calendars will be available by early October 2016. 300 additional calendars will be available for sale at NoBo First Friday locations to promote our organization and the artists.

Participation is on a first come-first served basis with a cap at 48 Artists and 12 Patrons. Please only one image per artist at this time. If we have space at the end we will open it to a second image per artist for an additional $25. Patrons do not need to be members to be listed. The deadline for entries is August 20th, 2016. 

Artist Cost: $25, payable via Paypal HERE.  

Patron cost is $50, payable via Paypal HERE.

To Apply:  After you pay your fee please send your images along with your name, phone, website (if you have one), to info@paulagillen.net

Image Specs: Please send the largest jpg file you have attached to an email to info@paulagillen.net. Minimum size is a jpeg at 300 ppi at 6 inches wide, do not compress. Title your files FirstNameLastName.jpg Please submit images of high “professional quality.”

If you have difficulty judging the size or quality of your images please contact Paula Gillen, Project Graphic Designer and Photographer at: info@paulagillen.net or (917) 693-4534, Paula is available to photograph your art in her studio for a $15/image fee.
